CMS --> Joomla!

  Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS), that is to say, a software that enables you to build, organize, manage and publish content for websites, blogs, Intranets and mobile applications. A relevant characteristic of it is that is totally freely available to everyone.
    Among the core features, we find that Joomla is a multilingual platform that offers more than 70 languages. Moreover, the uploads are just installed in a click and it has some tools to manage and organise files and folders, to add advertisements and contacts. If you are designer or developer it has more features adapted to those roles. Finally, what marks a milestone is that it gives its users the chance to edit content without any knowledge of code.



    I have chosen the extension of jobs and recruitment since it supposes a great tool for Human Resources teams helping business and employers organize their online job postings and online application submissions. Moreover, it allows job seekers to their online applications.



    Joomla is a fantastic tool to create and design a web of contents to share with the students and give them information about some topics to keep them motivated and interested in learning.

Hi, everyone! My name is Alba Arco Álvarez.  On the one hand, I studied English Studies at the University of Alicante and now I am studying a Master's in Secondary Education Teaching, Vocational Training and Language Teaching at the same university. An illustrative video.

I have chosen this video because I consider it quite explicative, technology is used in it in a quite useful way and it transmits the passion for teaching that teachers and experts that participate in it have. Moreover, these teachers take all the advantages of technology as a learning tool, what helps students to acquire new knowledge successfully and they become guides whose role is only to support their students' learning. I recommend this video because it easily shows how effective and motivating are the early childhood classrooms in which this kind of technology is used.
