Interaction in Class

I would like to teach the English language in Secondary Education using different methodologies with the aim that every student would be successful in the subject as well as identify himself/ herself as a competent speaker of the language, a good learner or even just a learner since I have witnessed frequently how the needs of the students have not been taking into consideration.
One of the methodologies I think that can be more adaptable to the different needs of the students is TBL (Task-based learning) since the language will be studied is not pre-determined by the teacher but by what happens as the students complete a central task, in which the lesson is based. This approach, apart from arises from the students' needs, is a strong communicative and it is enjoyable and motivating.
There is a huge variety of ways to learn a language and most of them come from new technologies, which have facilitated a lot the teaching and learning of a language to both parts: teachers and students. Also, it is quite important that the teacher promotes interaction and intercultural awareness in his/her students. This interaction with the teacher provides students the necessary language models and the intercultural awareness provides students the values needed to interact in intercultural contexts and to be respectful with people from other countries. Furthermore, the teacher must achieve the motivation of the students for learning through communication activities in real situations.

Some interesting learning strategies for students of Secondary Education could be learning by games, by doing, by hearing, by reading, watching TV series, talking about interests, work in pairs, conversations in large groups, role-play, interact through social networks, among others. These strategies would be beneficial in teenagers' acquisition of the language since they will learn through the activities they like as well as by using the context in which they should communicate in their everyday life.
